About Frueauf Village
Frueauf Village is truly an oasis in the heart of Falls Creek and when the snow falls, it offers true ski-in ski-out access. The Frueauf Village design embraces the alpine environment by capturing the open spaces and stunning views of snow-capped Alpine peaks and valleys.
Falls Creek is unique in Australian Alpine resorts in that when snow falls, the village is closed to road traffic and the roads become a beautiful way to connect to the lifts and get onto the slopes.
Frueauf Village operates year round and caters not only for winter guests but for a growing summer clientele with activities such as mountain biking, horse-riding, hiking and fishing or just as a base to access some of the beautiful food and wine trails for which the wider area is renowned.
The Village comprises 25 Architect designed self-contained luxurious apartments. Apartments are spacious, appointed with quality fittings and range from studio apartments, one bedroom through to four bedroom apartments. Three chalets are able to be combined and marketed as five and six bedroom apartments.
Unlike “block” type apartment buildings and complexes, the Village is made up of seven free standing chalets with between two to five apartments in each chalet. A heated pathway is entwined and provides easy navigation throughout the complex. Majority of our apartments have outdoor balconies or roof decks with heated spas and BBQ’s enabling you to make the most of the Alpine lifestyle.
Frueauf Village was constructed in two stages:
Stage one in 2001:
Chalet Scholtes, GE, Inverno Neve, Blanco and Central.
Stage two in 2004:
Chalet Sapporo, Nagano, Lillehammer and Albertville.
Many of our apartments have been held since construction in 2001 and 2004.
